3 = 1 x 3 + 0
The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 1, the HCF of 2404 and 9419 is 1
Notice that 1 = HCF(3,1) = HCF(37,3) = HCF(40,37) = HCF(197,40) = HCF(2207,197) = HCF(2404,2207) = HCF(9419,2404) .
