The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 24, the HCF of 2424 and 1920 is 24
Notice that 24 = HCF(96,24) = HCF(408,96) = HCF(504,408) = HCF(1920,504) = HCF(2424,1920) .
