20 = 2 x 10 + 0
The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 2, the HCF of 326 and 804 is 2
Notice that 2 = HCF(20,2) = HCF(22,20) = HCF(152,22) = HCF(326,152) = HCF(804,326) .
We can take hcf of as 1st numbers and next number as another number to apply in Euclidean lemma
Step 1: Since 472 > 2, we apply the division lemma to 472 and 2, to get
472 = 2 x 236 + 0
The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 2, the HCF of 2 and 472 is 2

We can take hcf of as 1st numbers and next number as another number to apply in Euclidean lemma
Step 1: Since 438 > 2, we apply the division lemma to 438 and 2, to get
438 = 2 x 219 + 0
The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 2, the HCF of 2 and 438 is 2
