The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 5, the HCF of 395 and 5415 is 5
Notice that 5 = HCF(15,5) = HCF(50,15) = HCF(115,50) = HCF(280,115) = HCF(395,280) = HCF(5415,395) .
