Step 2: Since the reminder 50 ≠ 0, we apply division lemma to 41 and 50, to get

Step 3: We consider the new divisor 41 and the new remainder 9, and apply the division lemma to get
41 = 9 x 4 + 5
We consider the new divisor 9 and the new remainder 5,and apply the division lemma to get
9 = 5 x 1 + 4
We consider the new divisor 5 and the new remainder 4,and apply the division lemma to get
5 = 4 x 1 + 1
We consider the new divisor 4 and the new remainder 1,and apply the division lemma to get
4 = 1 x 4 + 0
The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 1, the HCF of 50 and 91 is 1
Notice that 1 = HCF(4,1) = HCF(5,4) = HCF(9,5) = HCF(41,9) = HCF(50,41) = HCF(91,50) .
We can take hcf of as 1st numbers and next number as another number to apply in Euclidean lemma
Step 1: Since 98 > 1, we apply the division lemma to 98 and 1, to get
98 = 1 x 98 + 0
The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 1, the HCF of 1 and 98 is 1

We can take hcf of as 1st numbers and next number as another number to apply in Euclidean lemma
