The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 2, the HCF of 568 and 894 is 2
Notice that 2 = HCF(4,2) = HCF(10,4) = HCF(74,10) = HCF(84,74) = HCF(242,84) = HCF(326,242) = HCF(568,326) = HCF(894,568) .

Step 1: Since 187 > 2, we apply the division lemma to 187 and 2, to get
187 = 2 x 93 + 1
