The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 1, the HCF of 612 and 847 is 1
Notice that 1 = HCF(4,1) = HCF(5,4) = HCF(44,5) = HCF(49,44) = HCF(93,49) = HCF(142,93) = HCF(235,142) = HCF(612,235) = HCF(847,612) .
We can take hcf of as 1st numbers and next number as another number to apply in Euclidean lemma
Step 1: Since 501 > 1, we apply the division lemma to 501 and 1, to get
501 = 1 x 501 + 0
