The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 2, the HCF of 678 and 842 is 2
Notice that 2 = HCF(10,2) = HCF(22,10) = HCF(164,22) = HCF(678,164) = HCF(842,678) .
We can take hcf of as 1st numbers and next number as another number to apply in Euclidean lemma

303 = 2 x 151 + 1
Step 2: Since the reminder 2 ≠ 0, we apply division lemma to 1 and 2, to get
2 = 1 x 2 + 0
