The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 1, the HCF of 757 and 554 is 1
Notice that 1 = HCF(4,1) = HCF(17,4) = HCF(38,17) = HCF(55,38) = HCF(148,55) = HCF(203,148) = HCF(554,203) = HCF(757,554) .
We can take hcf of as 1st numbers and next number as another number to apply in Euclidean lemma
Step 1: Since 406 > 1, we apply the division lemma to 406 and 1, to get
406 = 1 x 406 + 0
