We consider the new divisor 33 and the new remainder 32,and apply the division lemma to get
33 = 32 x 1 + 1

32 = 1 x 32 + 0
The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 1, the HCF of 787 and 164 is 1
Notice that 1 = HCF(32,1) = HCF(33,32) = HCF(131,33) = HCF(164,131) = HCF(787,164) .
We can take hcf of as 1st numbers and next number as another number to apply in Euclidean lemma
Step 1: Since 50 > 1, we apply the division lemma to 50 and 1, to get
50 = 1 x 50 + 0
The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 1, the HCF of 1 and 50 is 1
