26 = 1 x 26 + 0
The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 1, the HCF of 80 and 293 is 1
Notice that 1 = HCF(26,1) = HCF(27,26) = HCF(53,27) = HCF(80,53) = HCF(293,80) .
We can take hcf of as 1st numbers and next number as another number to apply in Euclidean lemma
Step 1: Since 740 > 1, we apply the division lemma to 740 and 1, to get
740 = 1 x 740 + 0
The remainder has now become zero, so our procedure stops. Since the divisor at this stage is 1, the HCF of 1 and 740 is 1

601 = 1 x 601 + 0
