LCM of decimals calculator gives the LCM of Decimal numbers given 0.1, 0.5, 0.3, 0.192 i.e. 24 the smallest number that divides all of them exactly.
Least Common Multiple (LCM) of 0.1, 0.5, 0.3, 0.192 is 24.
LCM(0.1, 0.5, 0.3, 0.192) = 24
Enter two or more decimals separated by "commas"
Ex: 0.2, 0.3 or 0.4, 0.5, 0.6
Given numbers are 0.1,0.5,0.3,0.192. The highest number of digits after the decimal point in the given case is 3
Thus, in order to get rid of the decimal point we need to multiply them with 1000. On doing so, they are as follows
0.1 x 1000 = 100
0.5 x 1000 = 500
0.3 x 1000 = 300
0.192 x 1000 = 192
On finding the LCM of 100,500,300,192 we get the Least Common Multiple as 24000
2 | 100, 500, 300, 192 |
2 | 50, 250, 150, 96 |
3 | 25, 125, 75, 48 |
5 | 25, 125, 25, 16 |
5 | 5, 5, 25, 16 |
1, 1, 5, 16 |
∴ So the LCM of the given numbers is 2 x 2 x 3 x 5 x 5 x 1 x 1 x 5 x 16 = 24000
Divide the result you got with the number you multiplied to make it as integer in the first step. In this case, we need to divide by 1000 as we used it to make the given numbers into integers.
On dividing the LCM 24000/1000 we get 24
Thus the Least Common Multiple of 0.1,0.5,0.3,0.192 is 24
The formula of LCM is LCM(a1,a2,a3....,an) = ( a1 × a2 × a3 × .... × an) / GCF(a1,a2,a3....,an) x common factors(if more than 2 numbers have common factors).
We need to calculate greatest common factor of 100,500,300,192 and common factors if more than two numbers have common factor, than apply into the LCM equation.
GCF(100,500,300,192) = 4
common factors(in case of two or more numbers have common factors) = 30000
GCF(100,500,300,192) x common factors =4 x 30000 = 120000
LCM(100,500,300,192) = ( 100 × 500 × 300 × 192 ) / 120000
LCM(100,500,300,192) = 2880000000 / 120000
LCM(100,500,300,192) = 24000
Here are some samples of LCM of Decimals calculations.
1. What is the LCM of 0.1, 0.5, 0.3, 0.192?
Answer: LCM of 0.1, 0.5, 0.3, 0.192 is 24.
2. How to Find the LCM of 0.1, 0.5, 0.3, 0.192?
Answer: Least Common Factor(LCM) of 0.1, 0.5, 0.3, 0.192 = 24
Step 1: First calculate the highest decimal number after decimal point.
Step 2: Then multiply all numbers with 1000.
Step 3: Then find LCM of 100,500,300,192. After getting LCM devide the result with 1000 the value that is previously multiplied.
So LCM(0.1, 0.5, 0.3, 0.192) = 24.
