LCM of decimals calculator gives the LCM of Decimal numbers given 0.5, 0.8, 0.81 i.e. 324 the smallest number that divides all of them exactly.
Least Common Multiple (LCM) of 0.5, 0.8, 0.81 is 324.
LCM(0.5, 0.8, 0.81) = 324
Enter two or more decimals separated by "commas"
Ex: 0.2, 0.3 or 0.4, 0.5, 0.6
Given numbers are 0.5,0.8,0.81. The highest number of digits after the decimal point in the given case is 2
Thus, in order to get rid of the decimal point we need to multiply them with 100. On doing so, they are as follows
0.5 x 100 = 50
0.8 x 100 = 80
0.81 x 100 = 81
On finding the LCM of 50,80,81 we get the Least Common Multiple as 32400
2 | 50, 80, 81 |
5 | 25, 40, 81 |
5, 8, 81 |
∴ So the LCM of the given numbers is 2 x 5 x 5 x 8 x 81 = 32400
Divide the result you got with the number you multiplied to make it as integer in the first step. In this case, we need to divide by 100 as we used it to make the given numbers into integers.
On dividing the LCM 32400/100 we get 324
Thus the Least Common Multiple of 0.5,0.8,0.81 is 324
The formula of LCM is LCM(a1,a2,a3....,an) = ( a1 × a2 × a3 × .... × an) / GCF(a1,a2,a3....,an) x common factors(if more than 2 numbers have common factors).
We need to calculate greatest common factor of 50,80,81 and common factors if more than two numbers have common factor, than apply into the LCM equation.
GCF(50,80,81) = 1
common factors(in case of two or more numbers have common factors) = 10
GCF(50,80,81) x common factors =1 x 10 = 10
LCM(50,80,81) = ( 50 × 80 × 81 ) / 10
LCM(50,80,81) = 324000 / 10
LCM(50,80,81) = 32400
Here are some samples of LCM of Decimals calculations.
1. What is the LCM of 0.5, 0.8, 0.81?
Answer: LCM of 0.5, 0.8, 0.81 is 324.
2. How to Find the LCM of 0.5, 0.8, 0.81?
Answer: Least Common Factor(LCM) of 0.5, 0.8, 0.81 = 324
Step 1: First calculate the highest decimal number after decimal point.
Step 2: Then multiply all numbers with 100.
Step 3: Then find LCM of 50,80,81. After getting LCM devide the result with 100 the value that is previously multiplied.
So LCM(0.5, 0.8, 0.81) = 324.
